About this Artwork
The inner city is scattered with discarded and abandoned objects. Everyone has the experience of seeing a beanie on the road, a glove on the tram. The submitted image raises questions and thoughts of who the object may have belonged to and how it got lost; the human history that is embedded within its creases and stains. These objects are part of the fabric of the urban environment; therefore Moving Galleries is an ideal context to present them in. This image is part of an ongoing project that can be viewed at www.discardedobject.com.
